I believe that physically restoring and re-building the Spirit Houses is the Master Key to promoting Resilience and Sustainability across Melanesian clans, villages and islands
Promoting conservation across Melanesian without involving customary elders is the biggest mistake conservationists and environmentalists have committed in the region.
Promoting resilience and sustainable living without renovating Spirit Houses is just like treating the symptoms (of our environmental problems) without treating the actual cause of the illness.
Only by restoring and renovating the Customary Spirit Houses, there will be revolution towards sustainability in the region.
